Bill Lennon - Bob Dylan

Bill has been performing in the UK and abroad since graduating from London’s Guitar Institute (now known as the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance) as best live performer in 2005.

Learning piano and banjo as a youngster, Bill switched to the guitar as a teenager. And although initially inspired by electric guitarists like Johnny Marr and Andy Summers, he gradually became drawn towards the acoustic guitar, thanks to the likes of Paul Simon, Cat Stevens, and of course, Bob Dylan.

Dylan’s second album “The Freewheelin’ Bob Dylan” was a soundtrack to Bill’s childhood, and remains in his top three favourite albums of all time, but it was a chance hearing of Like A Rolling Stone and Positively 4th Street back to back on the radio as a teenager that sealed the deal. “The sound and vocal delivery just blew me away," recalls Bill.

Bill’s roles to date include touring with an internationally renowned Rolling Stones tribute as Keith Richards, and performing as James Taylor in  'You’ve Got A Friend'.

Leigh Chambers - Guitar/BVs

A multi-instrumentalist, Leigh's musical
background includes playing guitar in various classic rock cover bands, playing banjo, mandolin and lap steel in bluegrass, blues and country bands as well as solo acoustic performances of pop/rock songs.

Leigh has performed since the age of 14 and as a professional for the last 2 years, recently playing at the MOTO GP and this year's F1 at Silverstone race circuit.

Leigh also enjoys recording and sound engineering in his spare time and has mixed for bands for various small festivals and events around Oxfordshire.

Leigh's favourite Bob Dylan song is Tangled Up In Blue.

Lewis Cochrane - Keyboards/BVs

Lewis is a singer and multi-instrumentalist from Buckinghamshire.

After training in Musical Theatre in 2016, he performed as an actor and guitarist in the 2016/17 Sister Act UK tour. Since then, he has gigged as a singer-pianist in London bars and enjoys producing music for himself and local musicians.

Dylan has kept him in good company for the last eight years since he heard the sprawling verses of “It’s Alright Ma, I’m Only Bleeding”, which he still considers his favourite cut from our favourite Nobel laureate.

The Bob Dylan Story is delighted to welcome Lewis on our 2022 tour.

Phil Marriott - Drums

Phil has been working as a freelance drummer in the UK and abroad for over 20 years.

He played drums/percussion in the London West End production of Cabaret (Lyric Theatre), Masters of the Musical (London Stage Ensemble) and The Wonderful West End (London Stage Orchestra). On screen sessions include performing on The One Show and Show Me the Money.

Phil currently plays in annual professional pantomimes for Jordan Productions and he is thrilled to be playing on The Bob Dylan Story's 2022 theatre tour.
